Gravel citizens, Koli invites you to ride! Heartwarming landscapes, the most comprehensive dirt road network in Europe, and gravel in all possible forms – Sorahiisi offers gravel on its purest.
You come from far away, so let´s ride properly! Sorahiisi 60 and Sorahiisi 160 offer a hand-picked route that suits everyone. In addition, there is Sorahiisi 320, an all-night 200-mile adventure deep in the wilderness.

Taste the finest gravel in Europe – the routes will be released during the spring.
The shorter versions of Sorahiisi are approximately 60 and 160-kilometer-long routes, with the glimmer of Lake Pielinen between the trees and an incredibly lively gravel road below. More information during the winter!
The top class of Sorahiisi is a 320-kilometer stretch of Koli area´s endless gravel road network. The event starts on Friday 22.8. in the evening from the top of Koli and leads to the darkening night. The route surrounds rugged wilderness landscapes and even more rugged gravel roads. We return to Koli on Saturday evening and the final stop is at Ukko-Koli.
The group is served by a road captain and a dedicated service vehicle. You may also bring your personal equipment box/bag onboard. In addition, there are five service points along the way and additional refueling directly from the service vehicle if necessary. If you have to give up, a ride back to Koli will be arranged.
The normal price for the Sorahiisi 320 is €249. Register early and save money!
The best places to stay in Koli are two wonderful hotels: Sokos Hotel Koli Kylä (located in Koli village) and Sokos Hotel Koli (located on the top of the hill). The instructions for booking rooms at special prices will be updated on this page during the winter.
