The most beautiful gravel adventure of the summer

22.-23.8.2025 | Koli, Lieksa

Koli, Lieksa is the base for Sorahiisi gravel cycling.

Gravel citizens, Koli invites you to ride!

A national landscape, a hilly route, gravel in all its forms - Sorahiisi offers gravel cycling on the best roads in Europe in the Lieksa and Juuka area on 22-23 August 2025.

When we get to Koli, we're going to have a good drive! Sorahiisi 60: Sunset Ride and Sorahiisi 160 offer a hand-picked cycling route with a dose for everyone - the routes have been renewed from 2024.

There's also the Sorahiisi 320, a 200-mile gravel run from Pielinen to the eastern border, starting at night. The six-man class is both a race and an adventure, with shorter distances being low-pressure fitness runs.

In addition to the gravel adventure, on Saturday there will be an uphill sprint Mäkihiisi! Welcome to take on Koli's epic serpentine.

More information about the routes can be found here and event information can be found here.

Welcome to Koli! Vive le Gravel!
