What is Sorahiisi?

Sorahiisi is a two-day cycling event that takes place on the beautiful gravel roads of the Koli, Lieksa and Juua areas. The Sorahiisi mainly consists of gravel road trips (with the exception of Mäkihiisi).

Venue

The event's center and starting point is the Sokos Hotel Koli Kylä in the center of Koli, Lieksa ( Kolintie 94 ). The only exception to the starting point is the main  Sorahiisi 320, which starts from Ylä-Koli ( Ylä-Kolintie 39 ), right on the roof of the national landscape.

Except for the Sunset Ride Auringonlaskun ajo, all departures also end at Ylä-Koli.

Registration and payment

This is a paid event and requires advance registration. Advance registration ends on Sunday, August 17th at 11:59 PM. Register here .

You can pay for your registration via online banking, by payment card using the online banking application, and all common sports benefit applications. When registering, you must also enter your personal information into the system. 

You can also register on site at the event center on Friday, August 22nd and Saturday, August 23rd, but the participation fee will be higher than in advance. On-site registration ends 30 minutes before each start. You can pay for your registration in all the same ways as in advance, as well as with Mobile Pay or cash (only cash).

All registrations are binding and participation fees are non-refundable (unless the entire event is canceled). However, in case of an obstacle, you can transfer your participation to another person until Thursday, August 21st at 11:59 PM. You can change your registration information directly in the system. Keep the confirmation email you received, as the link to change the information can be found at the end of it. In case of problems, please contact the event organizer by email at info@lullebiegga.fi .

Also important

In case of illness, you can transfer your participation to another person or to the following year's event in a similar way. The right to participate is available for a similar trip or as a partial payment for longer trips. Please send an email no later than three days after the event and be prepared to provide proof of illness or injury.

Please note that the participation fee does not include insurance. Remember to ensure your own insurance coverage for injuries and equipment damage.

All starts of the Sorahiisi race, except for the Sorahiisi 320 race start and Uphill Sprint Mäkihiisi, are non-competitive. However, there is a timekeeping system for all participants in the Sorahiisi 60, 160 and 320 races and in Mäkihiisi. There is no timekeeping system for the Sunset Ride Auringonlaskun ajo.

The participation fee includes (excluding Mäkihiisi)

• Participant number and timing tag to be attached to the bike.

• Food and drink service on the route.

• First aid and transporting those who have dropped out off the route.

• Drinks and light lunch at the finish.

• A gift available only to participants.

• Purchasing Sorahiisi products at the participant price.
